Neu Wixom Dance Academy!
DANCE BOOT CAMP
(at least 1 is required for Jazz Company auditions)
Aug 10-12 (Int/Adv, ages 8-18)
Boot Camps run from 3:00-7:00pm each day over the 3-day workshop. Students will be placed into their appropriate age and skill level and may take classes in Ballet, Jazz, Lyrical, Tap, Hip Hop and Breakdance. Students taking these camps should expect to dance the majority of the four hours each day, however, they will be get water, snack and drink breaks.
Attending at least 1 Boot Camp is required for company auditioners.
Cost before 6/16/2010: $110
Cost after 6/16/2010: $120
AUDITIONS
Students interested in auditioning for the Neu Wixom Dance Company
must attend at least two summer events (1 must be a Boot Camp) to learn choregraphy.
Auditions for Jazz, Tap and The Neu Crew Hip Hop & Breakdance Companies
will take place on August 13 at 11:00am. $10 per dancer to audition. Dancers must be 5 years old by August 13, 2010 and have several years of dance experience (or get permission from the Company teachers) to audition.
If you cannot attend the August 13 audition, please call 248-313-0326 to schedule an audition for the make-up audition. Make-up auditions are $15 per person.
