The peculiar spelling of the name Neu Wixom Dance Academy was inspired by a combination of the "neu" developments within Wixom and from the maiden name of the owner, Gina Thompson (formely Neubauer). The Academy officially opened for classes January 3, 2006 with about 35 students. Within two months, the academy had more than doubled in size, soon accommodating well over 100 students. It is now serving over 200 students. Neu Wixom Dance Academy is proud to offer only the best quality of service and instruction from a friendly staff and professional instructors. We also offer competitive dance opportunities for the more serious dancer, however, we will always maintain a non-competitive environment. Neu Wixom makes dance fun again where every student is important! Most of our students come from Wixom, Walled Lake, Commerce, Milford, Highland, White Lake, Wolverine Lake, Lyon, South Lyon, Novi, Northville, Farmington Hills, Farmington, Livonia and Plymouth.
